DESIGN, PLANNING & INSTALLATION

Our technical sales representatives work closely with the client project team to establish storage requirement, layout, usability, working conditions, building design and budget to fully understand how the shelving system will work to maximum potential.
- Initial drawings are discussed between both parties, this may include many revisions until the client has established final requirement.
- Primary site survey undertaken by our technical sales team and where necessary stock audit to establish nature and volume of product requiring storage
- Site access, working hours and ‘live site’ conditions will be documented at this stage for our contracts team to aid them in creating project roll out programme
- Revised drawing design provided by us with exact dimensions from site survey implemented
- Contracts team will create project schedule working around client demands and site conditions – where necessary we provide out of hours delivery and installation to minimise impact on site.
- Once all drawings, method statements, layouts, risk assessments and final approach plans have been confirmed our installation team will attend all relevant site safety & orientation meetings and provide relevant CSCS / Safe Contractor details prior to works commencing
- Upon completion of installation a project manager will do an initial site inspection and ensure the shelving system complies with agreed designs. In agreement with the client project leader any snagging issues will be flagged up and addressed prior to final handover
- Full operational training will be provided, along with an Operations and Maintenance Manual, safety signs and weight loading notices. An agreed schedule for annual safety inspections / (PUWER) will subsequently be set up as part of our after sales service.
SYSTEM RE-LOCATIONS & MOVES
Whether you are moving premises or simply re-organising your existing layout it may prove financially beneficial to take your existing shelving system with you. Our technical sales team is on hand to work with you on planning and executing the most cost effective and time efficient move of your stored goods. Our expert fitters will dismantle (organise safe storage if necessary) and re-assemble your shelving system to the new desired location and ensure you are back up and running in as little time as possible with minimal disruption to both sites.
REPAIRS, SPARES & MAINTENANCE
Your mobile shelving system comes with a 12 month warranty, after which we recommend a yearly PUWER inspection is completed to ensure the tracks are running smoothly, and the system is operating to maximum potential.
If our PUWER inspection were to hi-light any areas for concern we offer a full repair, replace and maintenance service to ensure your storage system is kept in full working order.
Maintenance is an important part of keeping your shelving system in line with health and safety regulations. Our experts look carefully at how the system is being loaded to ensure there is no distortion or stress being put on the system through incorrect use/storage and provide a full written report to hi-light areas for concern or attention.
Any parts requiring maintenance will be cleaned, tightened, leveled and positioned accordingly. All screws, blots and hand wheels will be double checked for any wear and bearings/wheels will be inspected to ensure they still run smoothly and effectively.
FILE MOVES & FILE TRANSFERS
If you’re moving, adding to or improving your shelving system then careful consideration must be given to your existing files / product collection. The primary aim in file moves or transfers is to keep disruption to a minimum so that your core business is not affected in any way during the changeover process. Our experienced moving teams will complete a full audit and provide a detailed inventory before items are safely loaded, stored and transferred to the desired location. Where necessary new, replacement files / folders will be created.
We offer out of hours service and ensure total confidentiality – all boxes, files and moving crates are sealed for security and chain of access.
